Dear White's,

Thank you White’s for making quality detectors. My Spectum XLT helped me find this gold wedding band for Dick N. in Colorado Springs. He called me to see if I could find his gold wedding band which he had lost doing yard work.

I said I would try but no guarantees. When I got to his house he said he had lost it in the back yard so I thought cool a normal sized yard. Big mistake, his house sits on acreage! The back yard was huge with lots of bushes, oak brush, and plenty of weeds.

To top it off he has a chain link fence around the outside and tons of metal sculptures and smaller fencing inside. I began detecting the grassy area close to the house and worked my way out staying as close to the metal without freaking out the detector.

After 1 hour and 45 minutes I had covered the majority of the usable yard with no luck. I hated to just give up so I tried the area closest to the house one last time. BINGO!!! Some would call it dumb luck but I call it a darn good machine. The ring is not worth $20 scrap value because it is so thin but after 58 years of marriage the sentimental value is priceless.
