Dear White's,

My name is Robert and I am from Massachusetts, I wanted to write to you not just about the great coin I dug but to tell you how much I love my new White’s XLT Spectrum I recently bought. I used to own an Eagle Spectrum and I really wanted to get a lighter machine, which the XLT is.

I am just getting to learn all the new VDI numbers and sounds, and I have been "Digging it all". I got permission to hunt a house dating back to the 1840's that would soon be torn down. I started detecting near an old tree, and got a big clear signal at 6" deep, and it sounded like a beer can!!!

After cutting a plug I saw that the coin was standing on edge and looked to be a quarter, the first thing I saw was the eagle on the back and I just knew it was a old silver, my hands were shaking and I turned the coin over to see the liberty capped bust. This is one of my best and favorite finds, I called 2 of my detecting buddies and told them what I found, and over the next 3 days I carried this quarter with me and showed all my co-workers.

Other coins I found that day at the old house are a 1957 Canadian Half Dollar, a 1942 walking liberty half, a V nickel and a silver war nickel... My new XLT has really put the fun back into metal detecting and I absolutely love this machine, thank you!

Robert
