Dear Whites,

A couple weeks back I had gone on vacation to San Diego to visit with my daughter and new grandson along with all my other family out there. Spent a lot of time on the beach (of course) but my most memorable moment of this vacation and my metal detecting hobby has to be, being able to find a ring for my dad. He had called me about three months ago and was telling me about his gold nugget ring that my stepmother who has passed on several years ago had given him and how he had lost it while washing his car, you see my dad never asked for much ever but this was one thing that he really wanted and was very special to him. I told him when I come out in August I will "try" to find it for him. When I got to his place he showed me where he thought he had lost the ring, it was a vary large grassy area and I said to him if your ring is here I will find it, I got out my XLT and within about five swings I got that "tone of gold".

I looked at my dad and said to him your ring is right here before even digging it. In the eighty years I've known this man I can't remember a time were he was so getty and happy I dug my plug and put my pin pointer in about two inches and sure enough out pops his ring I can say to you all I've never been so proud in my life then in that moment of seeing my dad reunited with his ring and I think his wife.

Thank you Whites metal detectors,
Brad B
