Dear Whites,

What a versatile machine you have in the XLT!!! My friend Dave and I were asked to find a large wedding ring accidentally lost in a POND! Well we found out that the XLT coil is indeed waterproof up to 3-4 feet of water. We actually found the ring 5 feet from shore under an inch or so of muck. The XLT rang out an exact ID matching a ring. I scooped up a bucket of mud and Dave took it to shore and scanned it with my MXT. Again it rang out RING! Sure enough buried in the muck was the recovered ring. The owner was in tears. In return, they gave us permission to hunt some property with very good potential!
