Dear White's,

So far in my life, treasure hunting has been a hobby I just can't lay down. Like so many other treasure hunters I have read about, they caught the treasure bug when they were young and went hunting with their dad. This success story is about my dad and how all the treasures I have found don't add up to the fun we used to have in the field.

I realize that most success stories you receive are based on rare and valuable objects. Gold coins, rare relics, Spanish silver and the list could go on forever. Now don't get me wrong, I have found my share of these things with my White's XLT E-Series. I want to talk to you about the treasures you will have spending time with your family with your White's Detector.

My dad introduced me to detecting when I was very young. He had purchased a White's detector from Sears. We spent many hours in the field hunting and as I remember we were very successful. I remember that dad wanted most of all to find a diamond ring. He never found one, but he did recover many class rings, wedding bands and other jewelry. Of course, he found his share of coins and other interesting relics of a time gone by. I remember following him and looking in every hole to see what would pop out next.

As I got older, married and had a child of my own, I thought back to those times spent with my dad in the field and decided to purchase a White's XLT. Wow, is all that can be said of this amazing machine! I started making finds everywhere! I began as a coin shooter but after my first American Civil War relic popped out of the ground, I was hooked. I have always been interested in this era and have now spent many diligent hours searching fore those forgotten campsites along the Wilderness Road, which I so luckily live near.

My most recent find was a Quarter Eagle in almost perfect condition dated 1851. Found in a campsite occupied by federal troops during the early part of the war. WOW, GOLD!!! I also found in this same field three half dimes, a late 1800's love token and a 1879 Morgan Dollar. I also found numerous dropped mini balls, round balls, and a U.S. cartridge box plate. The ability that the XLT has to discriminate out the trash and leave the relics is unbelievable. Combined with the large coil I purchased for the White's XLT, it makes a relic hunting machine that I can say can't be matched!

Since purchasing my new detector, my dad has found renewed interest in detecting and now that he is retired hopefully we can find some more of that family treasure we shared so many years ago. IF this is what you are looking for I recommend you contact your nearest White's dealer!

Thank you!
