Dear Whites:
My name is Chris L. and I am 19 years old. I recently went
on a detecting trip with my grandfather in Florida about a
week ago. I have never been metal detecting and always
thought it was kinda dorky but decided it was a free trip to
Florida to lay out on the beach for a week. Well my
grandfather asked me to go with him continuously so one day I
gave in and he handed me an XLT made by you all. He was
detecting in the water and I stayed on the shore. Well after
I dug some bottle caps and loose change for about 40 minutes
my view about metal detecting really changed. I found a coin
covered in sand and didn't think much about it. When we got
back to the room I rinsed it off and to my surprise it was a
1797 Half Reale. My grandfather just gave me his XLT and he's
going to buy another one.
Thanks Whites,
detecting truly is a fun hobby.
