Dear Whites,
I live in Connecticut and to be metal detecting in December
with no snow on the ground is nothing but a treat in itself.
My metal detecting buddy and I decided to go to a couple of
cellar holes that are from the early 1800's that we haven't
been to in over a year. And after about an hour or so right
next to a tree that had fallen, pops out this, at first had
know idea what it was. After washing with warm soapy water I
was able to read the "Hero of Tippecanoe". And later to learn
this general was our 9th president and was the 1st to die in
office. This will be one Christmas I will never forget.
Thank you,
Chris, CT
