I got up at 4 a.m. for a drive to Daytona Beach Florida for a low tide hunt, I got to the beach at 6:30 a.m. just in time. I was shocked to see there was no waves at all, it was very close to a flat sea. I went right into the water with my White’s Beach Hunter ID.

I started getting targets right off the bat mostly clad, coins, sunglasses, and earrings. About an hour into my hunt B.I.N.G.O!!!! I got a 2.5 diamond platinum ring!!!! On the way home I stopped at a local pawn shop just to find out if it was real or not. Yep, the diamonds are real and the inside of the band says platinum. The man there said he could give me $4,500 for it, I said no thanks and walked out.

When I got home I was thinking this only happens in treasure stories, I have this ring and what am I going to do with it?? I took it to a local dealer to see if he could help me, we made a phone call to an auction house in Miami FL, and on September 15th the ring was sold for $9,500….. I was told it was worth $19,500 but that’s ok with me I’ll take the $9,500!

Thank you White’s for making one top of the line and easy to use underwater metal detector!!!
