White's,

Usually when going to England, I take a DFX and an MXT in case one of the machines might become damaged. This year I took an MXT and the new V3 and must say the V3 proved to be a fabulous metal detector.

I found Roman and Medieval coins, lots of plain and fancy buttons, a very decorative spindle whorl, plenty of "greenie" coins from the 1700's through mid 1800's, and various relics.

One thing that impressed me the most about the V3 was it's ability to mask out small nuisance iron targets yet find very tiny (less than half the size of a BB) bits of non ferrous metal at 6 to 8 inches. Larger coins and relics could be found much deeper. The analyze screen was not only entertaining but useful in trying to determine what the target might be.

The wireless headphones turned out to be a real advantage when one of the farmers wanted to learn about detecting by tagging along with us for awhile. I let him wear the wireless headphones while I used my corded headphones so we both could hear the same signal. The farmer was so impressed with the V3 and what we were finding, he made a few phone calls and got us permission to hunt a few fields that would have been unavailable to us. The farmer said that if he had more time he would be a V3 owner and user! Thank you White's.
