Today in Michigan the weather was good enough for me to use my V3 for the first time. About 2 years ago I was involved in a motorcycle accident when a car coming from the other way turned left in front of me. Anyway, bending down and digging up my find was quite a chore. I got my V3 around Christmas from Kellyco, and I must say I love them.

I found a quarter, which was located in my yard, I know that this probably doesn't sound like much to those reading this, and it probably doesn't warrant being on the V3 forum, but for me it was a beautiful thing. I got many beeps and was easily able to determine if I should dig or not. I have read the owner's manual several times and read the forum at least once a week.

But that quarter, using the Coin & Jewelry program showed up at 5 inches just as big and beautiful on my screen and left no doubt that it was indeed a quarter. For me digging once instead of 20 times is defiantly a blessing. I have 2 older metal detectors, both are about 40 years old. If I would have used them I would have easily dug 20 times, I only dig once.

So, the moral of the story is, if you are older and have a few extra bucks, buy a V3, and if you are younger the V3 is worth the wait. God bless you all, and happy hunting.
