Hi White's Electronics:

Dear Whites My name is Matthew M. I bought a Whites TM 808 a few years back and just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed your products. When I first purchased your machine I was learning to use it in my yard when I got a very nice beep under a large stone in my driveway which this stone was over two feet thick. I decided to remove this large stone which after a few minutes of digging did I realize that a large X was carved very deeply into the stone. Pictures of pirates burying loot ran through my mind which slowly faded into reality because they didn't pirate here along the massachusetts coast. I located the target which was a very old padlock. upon locating this rock and padlock I decided to research lost treasure which after much research I realized that Pirates were indeed here in Massachusetts . The most searched for treasure associated with pirates was the lost cache of William Kidd. After a bit more of research I found that William Kidd left Albany Ny. and after returning to Long Island sound he was seen unloading three iron chests which have not been found. To my surprise I learned that the Housatonic river flows into Long Island sound realizing this I decided to search for more artifacts and treasure because this rock and padlock were found on the banks of the Housatonic river. The very next area I decided to try my Whites TM 808 I got a very large beep also on the river bank I started to dig it and soon realized I had found a very large Iron chest it took several days to completely dig it up. Im sorry to say that it was empty but more research led me to the description of the three chests seen unloaded three hundred years earlier by William Kidd the description fit perfectly right down to the space between the rivets which are hand forged by a blacksmith. I am currently trying to authenticate the chest . While I am waiting on that I am now continuing my search for Kidds lost cache which I now have determined possibly lies in a cave here near my home which has been sealed closed by someone very likely an associate of William Kidd. I am sending you a picture of my treasure hunting son sitting on our best find yet. Thank you so much for helping my son and I live an adventure that can not be replaced by any amount of treasure.

Sincerely,
Matthew M.
