My name is David S. and I live in Austin Texas. I have been an avid detectorist for the last 38 years, and have used numerous different detectors in that time. Recently I bought a Whites Spectrum XLT after doing a lot of researching the different brands.

Man, am I glad I did! It is the best detector I have ever used. It finds the deep coins my other detectors had missed, and is so easy to learn and use. The VID numbers and bar signgraph are right on the money.

Since I hunt mostly sports fields for the jewelry, I couldn't ask for a better machine. The picture shows my ring finds for the last four months. This detector is a ring magnet! I am so pleased with this machine that I bought a new Whites Beach Hunter ID for some serious beach and surf hunting. Thanks again for such a great detector, it's the BEST!
