I wanted to tell you about a TDI success story! Recently a friend and I decided to return to a "hunted out" spot that was known for some nice Confederate relics. In the past this area had been very difficult to hunt due to a considerable amount of acreage that had some very tricky and difficult ground mineralization.

Realizing that the White’s TDI may be able to punch through this bad ground and find some deeper relics, I decided it would be worth a shot. I AM SO GLAD I DID! The first day I returned to the spot, it produced a beautiful little Confederate Script "I" button, which as it turns out, is fairly rare due to its unique size! I also recovered were a good number of friction primers (some with the lanyard wire still attached), Eagle infantry button, 2 more Eagle cuff buttons, and a good number of bullets! I compared signals with a friend of mine who was using a high-end VLF metal detector, and he was unable to hear the good signals I was hearing on the TDI...they turned out to be bullets!

One 20' X 20' spot I got into turned up about 15 bullets...ones that had obviously been missed in years past by other detectors. And all this from a spot that has literally been hunted hard for 40 years! I can say without question, that the pulse induction technology in the White’s TDI made the difference on finding these relics!
