Dear Whites Electronics:

My husband and I have been metal detecting together for about a year now. I became interested in the hobby after seeing how much fun he was having with it. Well that and all that jewelry he was bringing home.

For the past two years he has raved about this one park. After adding up all the finds from this park he came up with over $2000 in quarters and over 6oz of silver jewelry but no Gold of course he never looked for it. With the DFX I can set the metal detector to hunt what I want to hunt while not being bothered with unwanted trash.

Well yesterday still a little chilly we decided would have at this park one more time. My husband set his DFX to hunt Silver and I set my DFX to hunt Gold. Now keep in mind my husband has never pulled Gold from this park. We each went our separate ways and as I looked over he was pulling target after target and I wasn't having much luck with the Gold and almost changed my settings. I got a solid hit in the Gold range, wow what a ring 6grams of 24k Gold and 10 small diamond chips. I wish I would have had a picture of my husbands face when he saw the ring. After seeing the ring he changed his DFX settings like I did using the block edit feature and said I knew there was Gold here!!!!!!!

He laughed and said, "See I was clearing the way for you", I think not LOL. Thank you Whites for a really fun hobby, a great metal detector, and one of many Gold Rings. I just had to show you this one. Had it not been for the DFX this ring would still be 5" under the surface. I don't think my husband will be looking for silver and quarters anymore LOL.
