Hello White’s,

My name is Chad, I’ve been metal detecting for about 6 years, and would like to share my latest hunt with you. I went knocking on a neighbor’s door to see if I could hunt his yard. He told me yes, that was find, but I probably wouldn’t find much.

In the mean time he started telling me a story about when he was 12 years old his grandfather gave him 2 silver dollars. Jim always helped his grandfather plow and dics their crops, and one day before school Jim was plowing the field and lost both of the dollars out of his pocket.

That was over 50 years ago. Jim gave me permission to hunt the now hay field. I hunted the field 3 times and today I found the 1922 peace dollar his grandfather gave him over 50 years ago. I gave it back to Jim. What is neat about metal detecting is not finding a 1922 peace dollar, but making someone else’s day!!! Thanks White’s for the MXT it made it a lot easier to find.
