Dear White's,

About 10 years ago I found a large cent (1838) by chance on our campsite on Lake Champlain. It was just the thing I needed to spark my desire to metal detect that I had for years but some how I never found time to pursue... till I found that coin! I just LOVE metal detecting! I started out with a basic White's Metal Detector and then moved to the Spectrum XLT. Every winter I couldn't wait till spring for the ground to thaw so I could get out there! For the past few years I had to put my metal detecting aside while we concentrated on building on a new house. I am out there again but now being 62, I found that I couldn't metal detect for as long as I'd like because of my shoulder. I'm not about to give up my hobby, I love it so much I switched to the Prizm IV. It's perfect! It has all the features I could want and weighs only about 2 pounds. I got permission to metal detect down the street at an old homestead built in the early 1800's. I couldn't wait to get down there and try my new Prizm. My second day out, I found my best find ever! A 1946 Walking Liberty Half Dollar in very good condition! I couldn't believe my eyes! I love the White's detectors and recommend the Prizm to anyone who just needs something lighter! With the Prizm I now have years of metal detecting ahead. Thank you for such great finds, fun and memories!
