Hello Whites,

I work at a local hospital here in town, and my coworkers know that I like to go metal detecting for a hobby. I have shown many of them, some of my finds that I have made. Well, awhile back, one of the nurses came up to me, and asked if I could help them try and locate a small gold religious medallion, that was given to her son, by his grandfather, that he had lost. He had been playing at an old lot next to their house, and had lost it, rolling around on the dirt piles with his friends.

Earlier in the week, I had bought a Prizm II, to give to the in-laws to play around with, and thought that this would be a perfect time to see what it could do, since I had yet to use one. After work that day, I went over to the lot to see if I could help them find the medallion. After a quick review of the manual, and a few moments to set up the Prizm II, I was off, and in search of the medallion. I had her son show me the areas that he had been playing in, and started to grid search them. I had discriminated out the nails, but left the rest open, and found that I was passing a lot of the nails and screws that I could see on the surface, from recent building activity. After a few toy cars, and some clad coins, I got a nice low solid hit that jumped between foil/small ring and 5c/medium ring on the Prizm II display, and I knew that I had found it. I called her and her son over to show them the recovery, and using the pinpoint button, I was able to zero right in on it. I reached down, and pushed a little of the dirt away, and there it was. To say the least, we were all happy. I

have to say that I was really impressed with the ease of use and set up with the Prizm II, and after giving it to my in-laws, they have liked using it so much, that they are thinking about getting another in the Prizm series. Keep up the good work, in putting out a quality product.
