I was out hunting at a local park with my Whites MXT. The grass was a little high saying the city had not cut it due to rain for the last week. There was a group of people playing with a ball. When one of the girls yelled she just lost her ring, she yelled it so loud that I am sure everyone in town heard her. So I took a walk over with my detector to see if I could help them find it. It took me close to a hour and B.I.N.G.O, VID reading at 20 and out popped one 2008 High School Ring. But I turned to give it to her and they had left the area. The school was a local high school so I went to the school on Monday afternoon and asked for her. When she walked into the office she asked, "What was wrong?" I turned around and she said, "You are that man that was looking for my ring at the park?" I said "Yes I am, and is this ring yours?"... she started crying saying it took her a year of baby setting to save up the money ($375) to buy it knowing that her mom and dad did not have the money to buy one for her.

When I gave the ring back to her she was so happy she gave me a hug. It felt GREAT knowing that I found the ring for her. This is the 2nd school ring I have returned. The first one I found with a Whites Beach hunter ID in Daytona Beach and mailed it back to the owner in Texas.

Have a Great Day
