Hello Again!

I say "hello again" because I wrote to you about 7 months ago with a story (which you posted for Nov. 2007) about finding a lost platinum wedding band for a young couple on the beaches of Delaware with my MXT. Well, I am very happy to report that my MXT has struck again in a big way!

During one of my son's recent lacrosse tournaments, my wife overheard one of the team Moms telling a story about her son's girlfriend feeling very distraught over the loss of her grandmother's ring a week earlier in a large grassy area not far from her boyfriend's house. It so happens that the ring fell from her sweatshirt pocket. Once my wife shared the story with me, I quickly volunteered my services and that of the MXT to help find the ring.

With very limited information about the ring (this young lady was attending her sister's college graduation, hence little info) I began a thorough grid pattern search in one area with no luck and decided to retrace their steps to this area from the boyfriend’s house and about 10 minutes into that search I had a very strong signal on my MXT. The grass was fairly high in this area, but once pinpointed, there was the silver beauty staring me in the face. It was partially buried but still shone like the sun!

One text message and one picture sent via cell phone to the graduation ceremony had this young lady crying tears of joy...and relief! She is due home tomorrow where I will try to get a photo of her with the ring to add to this story. Dang, I love my MXT!
