One overcast day in late summer, 2006, White's dealer, Graham McCoy
of Chatham, Illinois was detecting a nearby Springfield, Illinois park.
When it started to rain, Graham headed back toward the truck still
swinging his DFX. On his final sweep, he got a solid ring signal about
1 1/2 inches deep. Sure enough, 1 1/2 inches down, there it was... a
1994 silver class ring from a local high school looking as new as the
day it was purchased. Engraved inside was the name of the owner.
Mark of Springfield and the class ring he had lost 10 years ago while
playing football with friends were reunited on Christmas Day, 2006, when
Graham returned it to him. Mark, recently returned from MP duty with
the Illinois National Guard in Iraq, was thrilled to see his long lost
ring and could hardly take his eyes off it. Here White's Dealer, Graham
McCoy returns the ring to its rightful owner.
