In the Spring of 2005 I purchased a Whites MXT based on advice from a friend of mine who is also a White's dealer. His advise along with my observing a few other people in the field convinced me that this machine could consistently find gold nuggets.

I have been detecting nuggets in Alaska for ten years now. I returned from my one week trip in the Summer of 2005 with some nice nuggets. The largest being 4 ounce. But my trip in 2006 was certainly beyond my expectations. I returned with over two troy pounds of nuggets; with the largest being 11.50 ounces along with a 5.35, a 4.10 a 2.20 a 1.86 and a few others.

The MXT did a spectacular job. The iron percentage in the prospecting mode is a great feature. It saved me from digging a lot of trash. The stock coil gave me good depth and the v.i.d. read out is very consistent on non ferrous targets. The MXT is a very high quality and exceptionally designed machine for the serious nugget hunter.
