I just wanted to share a little bit about our recent DFX workshop. I put together a quick reference guide to the most important adjustments on the DFX, Greg touched on the “user preference settings” and offered answers to other questions.

Next we moved into the open field, in just seconds the coins started popping out the ground. Greg and I checked up on each member and answered any questions they had as they went along. After a short while, Greg and I grabbed our detectors and started to sweep behind them. We found that they left very few targets in the ground for us to recover. I take that as a positive. Our training was paying off for them. We only detected in the field for just over an hour, and most of the participants not only had a pocket full of clad, but minimal trash in the pouch.

There was even a .925 silver pin found on Saturday! I have included pictures from the “classroom” and some of the finds. Also, Dwayne went back on Sunday, used my customer’s coin/jewelry program and really cleaned up. He found, yes you guessed it, both coins and jewelry. Check out the ladies watch, men’s gold ring, and ladies god/diamond pin! It doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks to all that attended. I look forward to doing this again in the near future.
