Dear White's Electronics,

First off let me say that the M6 is a great machine. I have had mine since January 2007. I have found many many coins and jewelry with the M6 in places that are supposed to be "hunted out". This story is pretty cool so I wanted to share it with you.

I had gone to a small local reservoir beach one morning to do a little treasure hunting. I had hunted this beach several times before and the amount of pull tabs was unbelievable. When I stepped on the sand I noticed a mound of sand that was not there before. I thought "might as well start here". I made two passes with my new 4x6 DD coil when the beep in my head phones was so loud, it hurt.

The M6 was reading "10" on the VDI. I pushed through the sand with the toe of my boot and there was "gold in that there mound"! The ring was a 10 karat men's ring with 7 small diamonds. I was so excited that I called my wife at work to tell her. I was so please with this find I left to grab a bite to eat.

Upon returning to the beach I decided to hunt near the water, since the water line had receded. I had been back at the beach maybe 10 minutes when I got a VDI of 72 on the meter. It pinpointed at 7 inches. In the past dimes usually read about that on this beach. I scooped the sand up and was looking at a second 10 karat gold ring with a big "J" on it. Since my first name is James I think that's pretty cool. The M6 is powerful and easy to use. The 4x6 DD rocks in the trashy areas. I just could not hunt this beach without it. Thanks for making such a great metal detector.
