I am new to the hobby and stopped over at the local White’s dealer in West Florida where I live. The salesmen were friendly, informative and most of all knowledgeable about your products.

The two salespeople at Famous Treasures showed me your entire White’s line of products they carry and went over each one thoroughly. The one they stated would be the best for the type of detecting and the price range I was interested in, was the White’s M6.

I went out to a local park the next day and besides the typical modern coins which I knew I would be finding, I pulled up a beautiful BUDDHA, 14” deep, 20 feet from shore at low tide. The brass idol had a sealed bottom which when opened contained what appear to be a prayer scroll and some sort of herb or incense. The object appeared to have been gold plated at one point.

The next trip to that site I managed to locate what appeared to be the housing for the BUDDHA.

What a surprise to find! All I can say is thanks White’s for a Detector that lives up to all that is said about it. As stated above, the salespeople knew your product and put me in the money.

I was so impressed, I have now returned to their shop and purchased your Beach Hunter model for further water hunting.
