I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy metal detecting with my White's MXT. I bought my MXT last June and am still learning. In the last 6 months I've collected approx. $150 to $200 in coins mostly clad. During three of the times I've found 2 quarters on top of each other. I've dug 1 Canadian copper dollar, 2-Sacagawea copper dollars, numerous 1 cents, less than 100 nickels, approx. 200 dimes, and over 200 Quarters most of which came in the last 6 months.

My metal detecting friend and I found 31 quarters in just over an hour last week, and that doesn't include all the other smaller domination coins. By the way, my friend Jim owns an XLT he's had for about 5 years. Last Saturday I found 9 dimes in a hole about 4 inches in Dia. to about 5 inches down where we've been detecting at for about 8 months.

I've been using the Relic mode for over 6 months now and seem to find more coins with less trash than in C/J mode. I've found a 10kt gold pinky ring. And Jim found a 14kt w/gold ring with 3 Diamonds on it within 20 minutes of first using the Relic mode ever for either of us. I've found 1 piece of GOLD, approx 2 grams last year at Loudmine, GA, last Nov. also. White's thanks for making the BEST and MOST fun machine I know of, the MXT.
