Dear White's,

I purchased a White's V3i and delivery was made this past Monday so I have had the unit in my hands for just 3 days now. I am new in this sport/hobby and have lots to learn, but I was totally taken back when I took the V3i out yesterday for its first 30 minutes of use.

I thought going to our local fair grounds and detecting in front of the bucking chutes in the rodeo grounds would be a good place to find nickel of two from a bucked off cowboy. My first find was quite surprising in that it was a WWII live 50 cal. Round that was at 10 inches of depth. I assume the material was hauled in for the rodeo grounds and the cartridge came to be here because of that.

I am so new at this I was digging about all signals but within 15 minutes I was able to (I feel) pass over some false targets and move right on to the good things. My first 30 minutes of use produced 4 silver dimes that were all at depths of 7 to 8 inches, two pennies that were 3 to 4 inches in depth and of course the very first find being the 50 cal cartridge. I feel White's has hit a home run with this new product and I hope to get many years of enjoyment plus some great finds with it.
