Hi White’s, I set out tonight after dinner to find something good. After being laid-up for 3 days with a pulled muscle in my lower back, I was ready to do some serious hunting. I don't know why, but I felt that if I set the DFX to accept only gold and quarters that I wouldn't walk away disappointed. I spent about an hour digging the usual clad and it was getting dark. I starting working my way back to my van and decided to hit the playground that I hit a couple nights ago. It was cleaned out well and I wasn't getting any signals. Just as I was going to turn off the DFX and head for home, I hit a solid 22 VDI. As I pinpointed it I noticed that it was over a foot long signal and skinny. I thought probably a wire or something and figured I would dig it just to clean anything dangerous out of the chips. I dug at the end of the long signal and up popped a clasp. It was so dark that I couldn't tell what color it was. I started pulling on it and it kept coming and coming. I then knew by the weight what I was holding in my hand. I went into panic mode. Went straight to the van, undid my gear and then realized I had left my Bullseye pinpointer back in the lot. Yeah, I was in shock...What a great feeling! Thanks for such a great metal detector!
