I'm not new to recreational Metal Detecting as I purchased a DFX for coin hunting in Sept 03, then sold it later in 2004 after having twins. The DFX became part of me. It was like telling a friend goodbye. I told myself I'll find another hobby or do other things to keep me busy, not that twins weren't enough.

Later, I realized how much I enjoy detecting and gives me a chance to get out of the house and get some sun and exercise. So I bought another one Jan 31st this year. After just one month back detecting again for a few hours each week over my previously hunted ground, you can see the results the DFX can provide.

My daughter Rebecca (age 3 1/2) has asked for a Yellow detector for the beach. The closest White's Detectors to that description are the Surf PI Pro and the BeachHunter ID. Looks like I'm gonna need to make a couple of phone calls to our local Hobby Store. Now, if I can only get my wife to look at a Goldmaster.
