I can’t say enough about my DFX. I recently gained access to an old corn field a few miles from my house. My friend and I detected it for a couple of weeks, he was using a Garrett and I was using my DFX. I was amazed that when I went back over areas he had already done, I was able to still find other items including colonial coins that he had missed with his Garrett.

At the end of our detecting, he had only found an Indian head cent, a large cent and a few pieces of iron. As you can see with the pictures, I found quite a bit more than that, a few colonials, Indian heads, large cents, buckles, keys, thimbles, and some really nice buttons. Depth ranged from 3” down to about 8” and all gave great tones. I couldn’t be happier with my DFX, it just goes to show you that it’s the best machine out there.
