DFX is my third metal detector. First one was White's Classic III SL, then I bought an Eagle Spectrum, and finaly I recently got my new DFX. The first day out and I knew I had a great machine in my hands. I hunt Roman coins in Serbia, and that is my hobby - my passion. I picked one "beaten" field for my first hunt. I worked with a modified Relic program that Mr. Jimmy Siera gave me and ....Wowwwwwwwww I dug 20 Roman coins and one Roman bronze dove fibula. The fibula was very deep in the ground, about 10 - 12 inch deep, but the DFX gave me a great signal. Also signals are much more precise than with my old Eagle Spectrum, especially for smaller coins.

A few days ago I decided to test one program from Mr. Jimmy Sierra that works with 15 kHz, and I chose one Medieval field (also "beaten") and I tried to find very small silver coins. It took me about half an hour to dig this beautiful silver Medieval coin, weight 0.20 gr from Istvan III Hungarian king (ruled 1162 - 1172). That coin was 6 - 7 inches deep!!! Also I dug 2 small Medieval coins, Obolus weight 0.02 gr, diameter 0.4 mm.
