Dear Whites,

As the summer of 2009 comes to an end I am excited to share the story of the gold I have found with my Beach Hunter ID 300. I live on a fresh water lake and being retired I have the opportunity to hunt the old swimming areas. I chose this detector after reading reviews of how well it worked in fresh water where nails and iron seem to cause a problem with PI machines. In Discrimination Mode the Beach Hunter skips over the nails and hits hard on gold and coins. The color ID lights are a great help but after a little time with the machine the tones tell the story. The high ping of a coin becomes so easy to recognize you know it is a coin before you look in the scoop but the thrill of gold is what we never get tired of. From July through August this summer I managed five 10k rings, five 14k rings, a small 14k ball and glove charm and a gold chain. From the large signet ring to the tiny child’s ring the Beach hunter found them all. I have really enjoyed using this detector and the results of this summer in the lake are priceless to me. Thanks Whites for a great water detector.

Sincerely,
Jim
