Hi White's:
I have been hunting with my White's Beach Hunter ID for
a year now. This White's machine is awesome on coins and
jewelry. I used the Beach Hunter ID at a local lake this
past summer. It is owned by TVA. A sanded beach-like area
has been built for swimming and sunning. I have permission
to hunt this site as a permit is required to hunt this
area. We can only hunt the grassy area from October to
April, but the water can be hunted all year long. I mount
my White's Beach Hunter machine most of the time with the
chest mount harness and hunt from knee-deep to chin-deep
water with a 5-ft handle sand scoop to retrieve my
targets. The bottom is made up of mostly sand with some
red clay \& rocks as you go farther out. I usually run my
White's Beach Hunter ID in the all metal mode with ground
setting in the center and sensitivity set at just past the
pre-set mark with just a slight audible from the threshold.
I check the target signals with the White's Beach Hunter
ID 3-lights system and scoop all signals that don't show up
in the red light which usually is iron. I am including
pictures of the area in the spring and winter when the
water is pulled down low. I also found around 600 newer
coins on this site from the grass and water. I have a
White's MXT that I use for the grassy areas with a Eclipse
3x6 and a 6x6 search coil that work great in trashy and
close areas. Thank you White's for these two great machines
that you have made and for the outstanding job they do both
in the water and out.
Billy
