Dear White's, It sickened me to see this animal in the condition it was in and I knew I had to do something, so I ended up untying the dog and taking it home. After several baths and several meals, the dog and I became good buddies. Although we'll have to come up with additional funds for vet bills and food, I'm sure it will be worth it just to see this animal happy and healthy. We named the dog Tasha. She has strong physical attributes to the Samoyed breed, and may also be part Golden Retriever. So far she's been getting along with our other dogs. She's very playful and still in her puppy stage (the vets estimate her age to be between 8-9 months) but sometimes she gets a bit carried away because she's obviously having the time of her life, especially when she'srunning or playing "keep away" with a ball or frisbee in the backyard. She's without a doubt the fastest dog I have ever seen! I shared my find with my friends at www.treasurenet.com and I was overwhelmed at all the positive comments I received about what may be my greatest find ever. Here are some "before" and "after" photos of Tasha. The first one is a bit disturbing because she had been starved for quite a while...however she continues to gain weight and appears to be getting back to normal puppy life.
Sincerely, |
