White’s Electronics,

I wanted to share a find I had with my new DFX the first time I had it out. I took it to a spot that I have hunted many times in the past with my XLT but it always seems to produce for me so I keep hitting it. This time was no exception. The digging is very difficult because it's in the middle of an old access road next to the railroad tracks. I can't imagine why this spot is so productive, it's only about twenty feet square, maybe somebody dumped something there from another site, but it's all concentrated right in that spot. I was using a 4X6 DD and got a hit at three inches with a VDI of 14 and when I recovered it, I found this nice gold 1915 class ring from Plains High School. Incidentaly my Grandfather was on the school board there, not this early, probably in the late twenties and thirties but it was kind of special to me. I have also pulled about two dozen wheaties and one dozen silvers from this spot but the ring is the cherry. I just wanted to thank the Whites team for producing such remarkable detectors that even the inexperienced MDer's can use. I am a brand loyalist and my brand is Whites. Thank you very much.
