Hello!
Take a look at this 1919-D Standing Liberty Quarter that I found at a public park in my home town of Eugene Oregon! At this particular park I've found a couple dozen silver coins, countless wheat cents (including a 1909-S), Indian Head Cents, and even a 1901-S Barber Half Dollar ~ but this 1919-D Standing Liberty Quarter is my favorite find from this park so far! I took this coin to show it to a local coin dealer. The dealer said he'd grade it an XF! Then he wanted to know if I'd sell it to him. He said that even with the uneven surface color that he's still pay me $150 for it. That was more than what I thought he'd offer for it, but I respectfully declined his offer and told him that I don't sell my treasure coins that I find ~ I'd rather keep them. And someday I'll pass them on to my children, or to my children's children. I've owned my White's XLT since May of 1999 ~ and I'm still amazed at how well this detector works! THANKS White's for making such great treasure finding machines! NeilEugene Oregon |
