You published a story of mine back in July 2009 and I would like to update my finds. I found this 1861 S seated half in Red Bluff California.
I went to South Carolina for a while and found this 14kt horseshoe ring with 14 diamonds.

The ring is appraised at $1200 on Myrtle Beach and this silver ring in a soccer field in Lancaster, South Carolina this CS 126A Civil War button at a battle site in South Carolina.
