Hey everyone,
I went out last week hunting a farm field with a friend. The farm dated back to the early 1800's. I took my XLT and started hunting where we thought the house had sat. After hunting I found a clad penny 1978 and the next was a wheat penny then another. The next flip out of the dirt was a Standing Liberty quarter, what a day so far. I walked a few feet and got a hit at 6 ½ inches and pulled out an Indian head penny. A little later we were looking at four finds and had to get started looking again. I pulled two great looking buttons and a pretty neat looking ring. I just can't believe how much stuff we are finding with our XLT. A friend of mine came down to detect and brought his V3. I took it out for a test spin and it is one great detector. I found 35 coins in a part with it. It was easy to use and the sound on coins was very clear to hear and the screen is the best I have seen so far on a detector. I really like the weight of it also. People that are wondering if the cordless headphones are any good, I can tell you this, they are great with the less weight without the cord and you will not miss it at all. I have used my XLT for years and it looks like the V3 is a winner. Thanks again for a great XLT and a better V3. Michael (DE) |
