Dear All,

Just to let you know how much I am enjoying using the new V3 detector here in England. At long last I have finally got a detector that performs well in all the situations that I hunt.
I have had the detector for about four weeks & had the opportunity to hunt a particularly iron infested area of a field some miles away. I always had a feeling that there would be something to find there, but was I in for a shock.

I have hunted on the periphery of the iron area with numerous machines but it was just too difficult. Now I went in for the kill with the V3! But, at first I didn't find anything except lead and more lead and more lead – all day in fact I was getting disillusioned with the lack of anything interesting, but something had to be here surely! Importantly the V3 was performing with total reliability in that iron bed - there just wasn't any interesting stuff to find or so I thought.

Finally, at the point of giving up after four hours of hunting & 80+ pieces of lead, I got a signal sounding like many others but the numbers & more importantly the graph said something very different. The last signal before we packed up was a coin at last! But no ordinary coin, the yellow metal still gleamed after 150 years in the soil, a beautiful 1769 Guinea.

Always expect the unexpected as the saying goes – that's goes for detectors as well, I doubt anything else with the accuracy of the V3 would have worked in that situation, I'd put money on it...

There were secret V weapons once before - and now we have ours today - the V3!
