Hi White’s, I set out tonight after dinner to find something good. After being laid-up for 3 days with a pulled muscle in my lower back, I was ready to do some serious hunting. I don't know why, but I felt that if I set the DFX to accept only gold and quarters that I wouldn't walk away disappointed. I spent about an hour digging the usual clad and it was getting dark. I starting working my way back to my van and decided to hit the playground that I hit a couple nights ago. It was cleaned out well and I wasn't getting any signals. Just as I was going to turn off the DFX and head for home, I hit a solid 22 VDI. As I pinpointed it I noticed that it was over a foot long signal and skinny. I thought probably a wire or something and figured I would dig it just to clean anything dangerous out of the chips. I dug at the end of the long signal and up popped a clasp. It was so dark that I couldn't tell what color it was. I started pulling on it and it kept coming and coming. I then knew by the weight what I was holding in my hand. I went into panic mode. Went straight to the van, undid my gear and then realized I had left my Bullseye pinpointer back in the lot. Yeah, I was in shock...What a great feeling! Thanks for such a great metal detector! Dear White's, When I was 10 years old I was in the front yard of my parents home (where they have lived for 58 years now) I had a half dollar and was throwing it into the air, watch were it landed, pick it and throw it again. I decided to throw it as high as I could and in doing so I lost track of it. When it landed I could not find it and assumed it must have sliced into the ground and was below the grass. I knew about where it landed but was never able to see it. I have been interested in metal detecting for some time now but have only recently purchased a DFX. Needless to say, I knew that if I ever purchased a MD I would go to the old home place and try to find the coin that I lost. The first week I took the DFX 90 miles to the place where I grew up. Mom and Dad were both there and came out to watch the hunt along with my Granddaughter. I marked a spot that I thought the coin might be and started to hunt. Right off I got a signal, dug and found a penny. I continued for about 20 feet and had a signal showing 50 cents. I dug the plug and sure enough there was the coin that I had lost 46 years ago. It was about 4 inches deep and in a vertical position. So far this has been my "best find" and it will take something really special to top it for me. It was a great experience to find the coin that I had lost 46 years earlier. Best Regards, Tommy |

Dear White’s Electronics, I have been detecting in Hawaii with my Pulse PI 950 on and off for the last 13 years. I purchased my detector in 1995 and have enjoyed it tremendously over the years, while living on an island surrounded by beaches flush with lost rings and things. I will go for periods of 1-2 years without using the machine, then pop in some double A's and hit the beach. This past weekend I went out for a total of 4 hours at Waikiki and another location down on the west end of Oahu, among the coins and pull tabs I found these beauties, the silver ring is a Tiffany & Co with a small diamond. After my last search I can't wait for the weekend so I can get back out in the ocean and find my wife and kids some more jewelry. There is no better feeling than finding a ring in the bottom of my sand sifter! The quality of your machine has stood the test of time. I have attached an additional photo of my detector with my little helpers. Aloha, Lyle Waipahu, Hawaii |

Dear White's, I am only 16 years old and already have made some wonderful discoveries with my XLT. My finds include Indian head pennies, mercury dimes, plenty of wheaties, and many other coins. I love to hunt old home sites and other old places with my XLT. It performs great in almost any condition you can possibly encounter. Some of my favorite finds include a 1913 Barber quarter and a 1942 D walking liberty half dollar. The Barber was found on an old lot in my town that used to have 4 houses on in. It was the first beep of the day! The Barber was about 6 inches deep and the XLT gave off a perfect signal! The walking liberty half was found at an old home site within walking distance of my house. It was about 4" deep. The XLT did a great job pinpointing it and the recovery could not have been easier. Thanks a lot, White's, for making some of the best machines on the market! -Jake in NC |

White’s Electronics, Hi my name is Bobbi S. I purchased an MXT, after a little bit of training from my dealer I decided to go out on my first hunt. With my 3 hour old detector in hand I began searching the ground, I got a pull tab/ring signal about 6 inches down, I decided to dig it! To my surprise it was a ladies white gold diamond ring, 2/3 Carat total diamond weight. I am so excited to do some more metal detecting to find more great things! Thanks White’s, Bobbi in CA. |
