We are always interested in a good metal detector treasure story. Family outings, a vacation hunt that paid for the trip, a backyard with a history! Mention the metal detector, how deep was the find, and any other interesting details. Include a few pictures of yourself and the treasure.

I was hunting with a friend and we were hunting an old house. I FOUND A 1 OZ SILVER COIN. It is my first ever 1 OZ coin find. My friend is now going to buy a M6 or the DFX. He is now a believer in the power of the Whites detector. I have been using Whites and now I need more time to use them. The detecter I was using was my trusty M6. I also have a Classic, an XL PRO and an Amphibian 2 water detector. I hope to find a gold coin some day.

Hey Everyone,

Well, I meet up with Cliff DFX and Sunny60 today and took them to our farm to chat about MD'ing and check out their equipment. Needless to say they and I wanted to test the equipment out in a hunt. I took them first to where the 1875-ish log home use to be, but they said due to the land being bulldozed and pushed over the hill like it was with junk nothing good would come of it. So, I took them to the second old home I know and gained permission from my cousin's mother and we hunted.

Well, I used/tested Sunny60's daughter's MD a White's Prizm IV. Cliff turned it on for me and I placed it on the ground where we were standing to ask some questions and a high pitch came out of it. Well, I thought I broke it… Cliff and Sunny laughed and said you needed to move it back and fourth. So, I did and it still had the broken high pitch noise coming from it like before. Cliff put his MD'er over it and sure enough I was on something. When we dug it up I had........ a 1967 quarter. MY FIRST FIND EVERRR! Well, we went on and in the next five minutes I had dug up the 1953 nickel.

Then it happened. Within 15 minutes of hunting I was standing there between two trees with my daughter and I had a high pitch noise. I dug the hole and found a square nail and as told rechecked my hole and again I had a high pitch noise. I dug a little deeper and I saw a silver item pop out onto the ground. I picked it up and asked the dumbest question of all to Cliff. "...Hey Cliff what did you say the year had to be before it was called silver?"… As I held it up Cliff and Sunny both looked at me and then came over to congratulate me on my first ever silver find. It was a 1943 Liberty dime. Rookie luck!

I say,
One cousin's mother's land to hunt – Free
One borrowed Prizm IV MD –Free
To hear my dumbest question ever - Priceless

Well the next 15 minutes wielded a 5-10lb ax head, junk, and a 1942 wheat penny.

Over all there was about 1.5 hours of hunting and teaching me. Both Cliff and Sunny60 found good items. And I can say I am Hoooooookkkkked line and sinker. Now, I just have to find a White's MD'er I can afford. As well as to get one of the most important items, Knee Pads…lol…

Cliff and Sunny60 told me to send in my find to White's, that my find was a very good one. All I can say, is I can not wait to do it again.

Take care and be safe.
God be with you,
Tony

M6 provides an amazing summer!

Hi, my name is Bob.

I bought my M6 from Al Holden at ProStock Detectors in Plainwell, Michigan on March 19th, 2007. I had never metal detected before then. The weather during the last half of March turned cold and we had some 6 inches of snow, not very good for metal detecting.

Once April and better weather arrived, I began learning the M6 and began finding treasure.

The M6 has found a lot of coins, $255.00 so far this year. (Also pictured are a sampling of the jewelry, both gold and silver found.)

I have really enjoyed using the M6 and have even added the Bullseye II to my equipment.

Thank you for making such a great machine.

MXT awesome relic hunter!

Dear Whites,

I am writing to share the excitement of my NEW MXT !!!! My name is Mark and I have been relic hunting for five years. I am lucky to live in a Civil War rich area of W. Tennessee, between Shiloh National Military park and Corinth MS (on the travel route of the Confederates from Corinth to Shiloh). I have had several other name brand machines over the past five years and this is my first Whites. I started hunting with some friends who are dedicated MXT users, and they consistently found more relics than I did so I sold my Tesoro's and made the change to a MXT.

The first time out with my MXT, I found my best button to date (an awesome guilt GS Officers cuff button). After this find I went back to some areas that I thought I had hunted out with my other machines and with the MXT these spots seemed untouched. I dug bullets and other brass items that I had walked over with my other machines without as much as a whimper. THANKS WHITES !!!!!! for giving my old hunted out spots new life.

Here are a few pictures of some of the things I found in the spots I thought I had cleaned out. Thanks and keep up the great work

Mark M

Dear White's,

I want to thank you for your great service and making a great detector!!! My Beach Hunter ID has made '2007' one of my best years ever detecting! These are just some of my finds...Two 1670 Spanish 8 Reale cobs found after a storm in March. I also found many other old coins and a 2 1/2 dollar gold coin pendant! I found this 14k white gold wedding ring set in chest deep salt water. The rings were about 10ft apart. This ring alone pays for my Beach Hunter ID!! I have found a huge amount of jewelery... rings, chains, earrings and pendants, etc. I hunt salt water and fresh water lakes, ponds, swimming holes all the way out to neck deep. The Beach Hunter has performed flawlessly!!! These are photos of just some of my finds..Thanks again!!

George
