| From Bristol: Go south on Interstate 81 and take exit 56. At the end of the exit ramp turn left. Take the second road on the left which is Mitchell Rd. Proceed to 1033 Mitchell Rd. Shop entrance is in the rear of the building. Ring doorbell. |
| From Knoxville: Go North on Interstate 81 and take exit 56(Tri Cities Crossing). At the end of the exit ramp turn right. Take the first road on the left which is Mitchell Rd. Proceed to 1033 Mitchell Rd. Shop entrance is in the rear of the building. Ring doorbell. |
| From Kingsport: Go south on interstate 26 (formerly interstate 181). Take Eastern Star exit. At the end of the ramp, turn left. Take the first road on the left, which is, Mitchell rd. We have been involved in the metal detecting hobby since the mid ´70´s and have been authorized metal detector dealers since 1990. We carry a large supply of metal detecting accessories to compliment your metal detecting hobby, and sell only what we fully believe is a quality product. We take pride in feeling fully qualified to assist our customers in purchasing a metal detector by taking time to explain the features of the metal detector, how it works, and above all, giving hands on instructions and demonstrations to enable the customer to begin the hobby successfully. We also try to demonstrate the proper way to retrieve targets, which is better for the customer, the land owners, and our hobby.
We have attended numerous "open treasure hunts" over the past years and enjoyed meeting the folks that are involved in metal detecting.
Although we once were avid "coin shooters" we now find ourselves more involved in detecting for relics, and jewelry. The most rings we have found in one year is 172.
Probably one of the more interesting items I have found is a political campaign badge of Thomas Jefferson. The badge is made of bronze, and is a "ladder" type made up of four sections hinged together with a round bronze medallion featuring his image. The campaign slogan on the badge is "High Tariffs breed trust...Do they help you...Our country for the Masses..Not the Classes"
We welcome visitors to our shop to check out our metal detectors and accessories, Our customers seem to enjoy looking at our display of Civil War relics and various metal detecting finds.
Most of our customers are repeat customers, which gives us the satisfaction of knowing they were pleased with the purchase transaction and service.
The majority of our new customers are generated by recommendation from our previous customers. We will go out of our way to accommodate you in making your purchase a pleasant experience, and to assist you in your metal detecting hobby. |
